This is one of the latest trends in headboard fashion, and there are several good reasons why you may want to consider this variety over a traditional headboard. These materials are beautiful, but limited in color and style. Cloth, on the other hand, comes in a huge array of colors and patterns. With an upholstered headboard, you can get the perfect color to match the rest of your room, much like how the perfect sofa can tie a living room together.

One additional bonus of using an upholstered headboard is that they feel more comfortable against the head. If you have ever accidentally banged your head on a bare wooden or metal headboard, it hurts! Laying the wrong way against it during the night can cause a headache in the morning. By wrapping it with padding, these problems are greatly reduced.
